Mae CanSense<\/strong><\/a> yn gwmni sydd wedi deillio o Brifysgol Abertawe ac sydd \u00e2 dyheadau mawr; trawsnewid prosesau canfod canser yn y cyfnod cynnar.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gan flaenoriaethu cywirdeb, cynhwysiant a\u2019r gallu i dyfu yn unol \u00e2'r anghenion, mae prawf optimaidd y cwmni yn targedu mater cyffredin canser y coluddyn. Trwy ddefnyddio Raman Spectrosgopi ar samplau gwaed a throsoli dadansoddiad AI, mae CanSense yn adnabod canser y coluddyn cynnar a pholypau cyn-ganseraidd. O ystyried bod 60% o achosion o ganser y coluddyn yng Nghymru yn cael eu diagnosio\u2019n hwyr<\/strong>, sy\u2019n aml yn arwain at ganlyniadau gwael, mae CanSense wedi ymrwymo i sicrhau newid cadarnhaol ledled y byd-eang drwy ddatrysiad sy\u2019n seiliedig yng Nghymru. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mae CanSense yn cyfuno dadansoddiad sbectrosgopeg laser ac AI i arloesi prawf gwaed anfewnwthiol ar gyfer canfod canser y coluddyn yn gynnar. Mae'r cyfuniad arloesol hwn o galedwedd a meddalwedd yn cynrychioli newid patrwm, gan gynnig gallu unigryw i nodi arwyddion o ganser neu polypau cyn-ganseraidd o un prawf gwaed. Yn wahanol i ddulliau confensiynol, mae prawf CanSense yn dileu'r angen am adweithyddion costus, paratoi sampl cymhleth, a cholonosgop\u00efau ymledol ar gyfer pob claf.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mae'r cyfarpar, y dechnoleg a'r fethodoleg ar gyfer y prawf CanSense-CRC wedi'u diogelu trwy Gais Patent Rhyngwladol. Gall prawf canser y coluddyn anfewnwthiol CanSense wella profiad cleifion, gan gynyddu cydymffurfiaeth ag argymhellion sgrinio a dulliau diagnostig. Mae'r dechnoleg arloesol hon yn sicrhau hygyrchedd a chynhwysiant, gan fynd i'r afael ag anghydraddoldebau iechyd trwy gyrraedd poblogaethau nad ydynt yn cael eu gwasanaethu'n ddigonol a allai fod yn anfodlon neu'n methu \u00e2 chael profion confensiynol, am resymau diwylliannol neu gorfforol. The team have been based within Swansea University\u2019s Institute of Life Science (ILS) since 2022, their first physical location. Being on campus grants CanSense access to office and lab facilities crucial for advancing the development of the CanSense-CRC Test and progressing behind the scenes toward its market launch. The environment here has presented numerous opportunities to increase visibility, such as participation in conferences and collaborating with facilitates by providing a space populated with experts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mae bod ar y campws yn ehangu opsiynau CanSense i gydweithio ag academyddion, myfyrwyr a gweithwyr sy'n frwdfrydig am eu cenhadaeth. Mae cael athrawon o'r Brifysgol fel rhan o'r t\u00eem craidd yn hybu perthnasoedd ymhellach ac yn ehangu ei chronfa dalent bosibl ar gyfer gweithwyr CanSense. Ar hyn o bryd mae CanSense yn gweithio tuag at ennill achrediad QMS i'w ddilyn yn fuan gan gymeradwyaeth UKCA, gan arddangos ei allu i ddarparu dyfais feddygol sy'n cydymffurfio \u00e2'r safonau cwsmer a rheoleiddio priodol a ddisgwylir gan gwsmeriaid. Mae hwn yn gam hollbwysig wrth baratoi\u2019r prawf ar gyfer parodrwydd y farchnad, gyda\u2019r nod o\u2019i ddefnyddio o fewn GIG Cymru a Lloegr dros y 12 mis nesaf. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Y tu hwnt i hynny, gweledigaeth CanSense yw mynd i'r afael \u00e2 marchnadoedd allweddol.
