Cyflymu Arloesedd Gofal Iechyd: Vitec Microgenix Ltd a Phrosiect Pentre Awel<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mae heintiau sy'n gysylltiedig \u00e2 gofal iechyd (HCAIs) yn parhau i fod yn her fyd-eang sylweddol, sy'n cael ei gwaethygu gan y bygythiad cynyddol o Ymwrthedd Gwrthficrobaidd (AMR). Mae'r heintiau hyn yn peryglu diogelwch cleifion ac yn gosod beichiau ariannol sylweddol ar systemau gofal iechyd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gan fynd i'r afael \u00e2'r mater dybryd hwn, mae Vitec Microgenix Ltd<\/a> (VML) wedi datblygu dau ateb arloesol: VSC1000<\/strong>, gorchudd wyneb gwrthficrobaidd, a V-MASS<\/strong>, system puro aer uwch. Mae'r ddwy dechnoleg yn darparu amddiffyniad microbaidd parhaus ac wedi dangos effeithiolrwydd sylweddol wrth leihau cyfraddau HCAI. Ariannwyd y prosiect drwy\u2019r Gronfa Ffyniant Gyffredin (SPF) gan Gyngor Sir Caerfyrddin, gyda chymorth allweddol gan aelod o\u2019r Rhwydwaith, Canolfan Dechnoleg Iechyd Gofal<\/a> (HTC) ym Mhrifysgol Abertawe. Chwaraeodd HTC ran ganolog wrth lywio cymhlethdodau arloesi ym maes gofal iechyd, gan gynnwys ymgysylltu \u00e2 rhanddeiliaid, caffael grantiau, a chydweithio ag arbenigwyr. Hwylusodd HTC gysylltiadau \u00e2 phartneriaid allweddol ar draws y byd academaidd, gofal iechyd a\u2019r llywodraeth, nododd gyfleoedd ariannu i gefnogi dilysiad clinigol technolegau VML, a ysgogodd gyfraniadau gan Fwrdd Iechyd Prifysgol Bae Abertawe, Uned Treialon Abertawe, Iechyd Cyhoeddus Cymru, ac academyddion blaenllaw mewn Atal a Rheoli Heintiau, Economeg Iechyd, a Chemeg Ddadansoddol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gydag arweiniad HTC, gwnaeth VML gais am grant i ddilysu'r dechnoleg ymhellach. Hwylusodd HTC gyflwyniadau i'r Uned Treialon Abertawe<\/a> gan ddarparu cymorth hanfodol wrth ysgrifennu grantiau a rheoli prosiectau, gan wella gallu VML i lywio prosesau cymeradwyo rheoleiddiol a pharatoi ar gyfer parodrwydd masnachol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
