Gyda'r cynnydd mewn ymwrthedd gwrthfacterol mae angen dewisiadau amgen i wrthfiotigau cyffredin.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mae t\u00eem o Abertawe wedi archwilio un dewis arall, sef therapi phage, gan ddefnyddio bacterioffagau, firysau sy'n heintio bacteria, i drin heintiau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mae yna ofynion lluosog i ddod \u00e2'r therap\u00efau hyn i'r farchnad gan gynnwys optimeiddio eu llunio a'u sefydlogi i'w defnyddio mewn lleoliad clinigol.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Mae'r <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swansea.ac.uk\/medicine\/enterprise-and-innovation\/business-support-projects\/accelerate-healthcare-technology-centre\/\" target=\"_self\">Ganolfan Dechnoleg Iechyd Gofal<\/a>\u00a0(HTC), fel rhan o'r rhaglen Accelerate, wedi cydweithio ag\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/iosbio.com\/\" target=\"_self\">iosBio\u00a0Ltd<\/a>, a'r Athro Martha Clokie a Dr Melissa Haines o Brifysgol Caerl\u0177r i archwilio sefydlogi tri phage sy'n glinigol berthnasol i'w defnyddio yn erbyn pathogenau heintiau'r llwybr wrinol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gan fod y wybodaeth yn brin ar hyn o bryd am y cynhwysion gorau ar gyfer ffurfio phages ar gyfer storio, dosbarthu a chymwysiadau meddygol hirdymor, cysylltwyd \u00e2 HTC am gymorth academaidd a chynhyrchodd adolygiad llenyddiaeth cynhwysfawr o'r cynhwysion presennol a brofwyd i'w defnyddio gyda sefydlogi phage. lluniodd iosBio Ltd. dri phage gwahanol yn erbyn pathogenau UTI sy'n berthnasol yn glinigol yn ddau fformiwleiddiad gwahanol. Yna profodd HTC y fformwleiddiadau hyn gan ddefnyddio amrywiaeth o dechnegau i sefydlu eu heffaith ar adferiad phage a gweithgaredd dilynol.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Amlygodd y cydweithrediad hwn effaith y fformwleiddiadau a ddefnyddiwyd ar adferiad y ffag yn dilyn y broses sychu ac ar ystod gweithgaredd y coctel ffag. Mae'r canlyniadau hyn wedi dangos bod angen ymchwil pellach i'r modd y bydd ffurfio phages yn bwysig wrth benderfynu ar eu storio, eu dosbarthu a'u cymhwysiad meddygol.
