Yn dilyn proses gaffael gynhwysfawr, mae Prifysgol Abertawe a Chyngor Abertawe wedi ymrwymo i gytundeb ar y cyd \u00e2 Freedom Leisure i weithredu'r cyfleusterau chwaraeon a hamdden ym Mharc Chwaraeon Bae Abertawe<\/a> (SBSP).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mae'r bartneriaeth yn un o elfennau allweddol model gweithredu hirdymor newydd ar gyfer Parc Chwaraeon Bae Abertawe a ddatblygwyd er mwyn cyfoethogi profiad y cwsmeriaid, gwella perfformiad a chreu sylfaen ar gyfer buddsoddi yn y cyfleusterau a'u datblygu yn y dyfodol, gan gynnal statws Parc Chwaraeon Bae Abertawe fel hyb rhanbarthol ar gyfer chwaraeon perfformiad, myfyrwyr a chymunedol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SBSP Ltd fydd yn goruchwylio'r cytundeb, sef cwmni cyd-fenter nid-er-elw, y mae'r Cyngor a'r Brifysgol yn berchen arno'n llawn, a sefydlwyd i arwain datblygiad strategol y safle yn y dyfodol. Mae\u2019n adeiladu ar gyfnod 25 mlynedd llwyddiannus o gyd-weithio ers sefydlu Pwll Cenedlaethol Cymru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O 1 Awst 2026,\u00a0bydd Freedom Leisure<\/a>\u00a0yn gweithredu cyfleusterau ledled Parc Chwaraeon Bae Abertawe, gan gynnwys canolfan chwaraeon a chaeau Prifysgol Abertawe, Pwll Cenedlaethol Cymru, y Ganolfan Athletau a Hoci a meysydd chwarae Brenin Si\u00f4r V ar Ffordd Ashleigh, yn ogystal \u00e2 chyfleusterau hamdden y Brifysgol ar Gampws y Bae.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Freedom Leisure yw un o ymddiriedolaethau elusennol, hamdden a diwylliannol nid-er-elw mwyaf blaenllaw\u2019r DU, gan weithredu mwy na 130 o leoliadau hamdden, diwylliannol ac adloniant ledled y DU. Er bod Freedom Leisure eisoes yn gweithredu nifer o gyfleusterau ledled Abertawe, mewn partneriaeth \u00e2'r Cyngor, bydd hwn yn gontract annibynnol a bydd Parc Chwaraeon Bae Abertawe yn parhau i weithredu fel safle ar wah\u00e2n sy'n cefnogi chwaraeon cymunedol, perfformiad a myfyrwyr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mae'r bartneriaeth newydd yn cefnogi uchelgeisiau rhanbarthol ehangach, gan gynnwys datblygu ein\u00a0Sefydliad Cenedlaethol ar gyfer Chwaraeon ac Iechyd<\/a> yn y parc chwaraeon, a fydd yn dod \u00e2 phartneriaid o feysydd chwaraeon, iechyd, ymchwil a diwydiant ynghyd i ysgogi arloesi, gwella lles a chefnogi twf economaidd; gan gryfhau ymhellach r\u00f4l y safle fel canolfan rhagoriaeth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mae gwaith bellach ar y gweill i sicrhau trosglwyddiad llyfn i'r gweithredwr newydd a chaiff diweddariadau rheolaidd i gwsmeriaid eu rhannu drwy wefan Parc Chwaraeon Bae Abertawe, y cyfryngau cymdeithasol a sianeli cwsmeriaid eraill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
