Y nod yw darparu dewisiadau amgen gwell yn lle trawsblaniadau ysgyfaint er mwyn cyflawni canlyniadau gwell a chynyddu argaeledd organau trawsblannu.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ar \u00f4l denu dros \u00a33miliwn o fuddsoddiad, prif gymhelliant y t\u00eem yw helpu dioddefwyr clefyd yr ysgyfaint a\u2019u teuluoedd ac mae ei dechnoleg wedi cael patent ledled y byd.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mae\u2019r dechnoleg arloesol wedi\u2019i chydnabod gan Lywodraeth Cymru a Llywodraeth y DU, ac mae Haemair wedi derbyn grantiau o dros \u00a32 filiwn.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yn dilyn eu llwyddiant cychwynnol, tyfodd Haemair y busnes gan recriwtio t\u00eem dawnus o wyddonwyr a pheirianwyr ifanc sy'n rhannu eu gweledigaeth. Symudodd y t\u00eem i Brifysgol Aberawe yn 2012 i elwa ar ymchwil blaenllaw'r Brifysgol mewn rheoleg gwaed. Mae deall y ffactorau sy'n pennu'r tebygolrwydd o geulo gwaed yn hanfodol bwysig wrth ddylunio dyfeisiau sy'n ymwneud \u00e2 gwaed, felly mae Haemair yn elwa o gael mynediad at y sgiliau unigryw a adeiladwyd yn Abertawe trwy'r cydweithrediad rhwng Ysgol Beirianneg ac Ysgol Feddygaeth y Brifysgol.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mae'r gwasanaethau a'r arbenigedd ar y campws wedi galluogi'r t\u00eem i ganolbwyntio ar ddylunio a datblygu dyfeisiau meddygol - gan gynnwys ocsigenydd, sef dyfais glanhau gwaed a phwmp gwaed curiad y galon - ac i ddangos y dyfeisiau i ddarpar gwsmeriaid a buddsoddwyr.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mae Haemair bellach yn gweithio gydag arbenigwyr Prifysgol Abertawe ar nifer o brosiectau, gan gynnwys astudiaeth Partneriaeth SMART Llywodraeth Cymru i wella dyluniadau cynnyrch, ac mae ganddo  nifer o batentau yn gysylltiedig \u00e2'i gynhyrchion.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cMae gweithredu o'r campws wedi dod \u00e2 manteision mawr i ni. Rydyn ni\u2019n cydweithio \u00e2 staff y Brifysgol yn yr adrannau microsgopeg a delweddu ac yn manteisio o gyngor gan arbenigwyr ar y campws. Mae cyfleusterau\u2019r labordy yn ein galluogi i arbrofi gyda gwaed a meinweoedd dynol, ac mae'r nwyddau traul priodol sydd ar gael yn y storfeydd yn rhoi mynediad ar unwaith i ni i ddeunydd.
