The ARCH Innovation Forum is a regional collaboration between Hywel Dda University Health Board, Swansea Bay University Health Board, and Swansea University. It connects innovators to medical, academic, and industry experts, aiming to accelerate innovation across the health and care sector in South West Wales.
The forum is inviting submissions from academics, NHS professionals, third-sector organisations, and industry that focus on:
- Service innovation
- Social innovation
- Knowledge transfer
- Digital health
- Health technology
Submissions are encouraged to address specific themes, including Population Health and Wellbeing, Eye Care, Diagnostics, and other areas relevant to healthcare improvement
Successful applicants will be selected to present their ideas to a panel of experts with a 20-minute session (a 10-minute presentation followed by a 10-minute discussion) and Q&A. The forum is a constructive environment to foster innovative thinking and stretch boundaries. All feedback is constructive and provided in the true spirit of regional partnership, with the aim of helping innovators shape and refine their ideas for real-world impact.
By connecting healthcare professionals, academics, industry leaders, and community organisations, the ARCH Innovation Forum aims to break down barriers to innovation. As a Network Member, they provide a key initiative in transforming health and care services across South West Wales and align closely with the goals of the National Network for Innovation in Sport & Health: promoting cross-sector collaboration, sustainable innovation, and improved health outcomes.
