At the National Institute for Sport and Health, we bring together sport, health and tech in one community. We’re funded by Swansea Bay City Deal to work with Swansea University researchers, businesses, healthcare organisations and sports organisations to help develop ideas, solve problems and turn research into practical solutions.
Our members range from start-ups and SMEs to larger organisations. Some are developing new technology, some are working on research projects, and others are looking for expertise, facilities or new partners. Being part of NISH gives them opportunities to connect with the people and resources they need.
We also offer office space to rent on the Swansea University campus, giving businesses a place to work alongside researchers, academics and other organisations in the NISH community.

We want NISH to be a place where good ideas can move forward. That means making it easier for researchers, businesses, healthcare organisations and sports organisations to find each other, work together and test new ideas in the real world.
